October 14, 2017 Miami, Florida AfroLife.TV a wholly owned subsidiary of Press Media Group announced today that is has dramatically increased viewership and live stream traffic for the BLACK ENTERPRISE TechConneXt Conference in San Francisco’s Silicon Valley. The four-day conference is the only one of it’s kind in the world where BLACK ENTERPRISE brings in the top students from HBCU’s to compete in a two day hackathon. The final two days of the renowned conference is headlined by African American thought leaders in the tech space.
BLACK ENTERPRISE’s TechConneXt event in Silicon Valley included a two day world-class speaker engagement with speakers such as Spotify’s Troy Carter, Uber’s Bozoma Saint-John and John Thompson the Chairman of Microsoft. The first day of the TechConneXt Summit was awe-inspiring and illuminating. President and CEO of Black Enterprise Earl Graves Jr. put it best in his opening remarks, “We continue to raise the bar since our inaugural event three years ago.”
Additionally, CNBC’s host of Squawk Alley, Jon Fortt, held an insightful one-on-one interview with Brian Krzanich, CEO of Intel. Krzanich spoke about Intel’s dedication to diversity; why he left President Donald Trump’s Manufacturing Council; and how artificial intelligence (AI) will be pervasive in every facet of our lives in the very near future. Krzanich also discussed just how valuable data has become, stating, “Data is the new oil.”
