Antwone Fisher Joins AfroLife.TV Board

LOS ANGELES (August 27, 2018) - AfroLife.TV announced today that Antwone Fisher has joined their leadership team and advisory board. Throughout Antwone’s career, he’s shown an interest in writing pieces that move and impact his audiences. You’ve seen him in projects like his own story, “Antwone Fisher”, the touching story of a sailor (Derek Luke) who, prone to violent outbursts, is sent to a naval psychiatrist (Denzel Washington) for help. Refusing to open up at first, the young man eventually breaks down and reveals a horrific childhood. Antwone has compiled an impressive body of work spanning over 25 years in Hollywood and AfroLife will be working very closely with him to advance them on moving their company forward.

“AfroLife.TV provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for path makers and leaders like Antwone. He has done the hard work, has built and impressive body of work in Hollywood, and is now thinking about helping to build legacy. There is no other AfroLife.TV and Antwone understands that. We are poised to make a dramatic impact on our community and are fortunate that someone with the pedigree like Antwone sees that”, says Alberto Marzan, Founder and CEO of AfroLife.TV.

“When Alberto came to me with the opportunity to help AfroLife.TV develop into a sustainable company to allow us to control our content and narrative, this was a no-brainer for me. I’ve always felt the need to mentor and help navigate a company by and for our community. This is important work and the world needs AfroLife”, says Antwone Fisher.

AfroLife.TV is the perfect company for Antwone, who has written projects that have never been developed and has other ideas to help with AfroLife.TV original projects.
